Stories of Transformation
We empower brilliant young minds who, without our support, would not have access to education. We secure bursaries, provide uniforms, and ensure nourishing meals, watching as these children thrive. Initially, we aimed to help five children, but the overwhelming need in the field led us to hundreds. To date, we have reached over 100 children and secured more than 20 bursaries. For years, we have visited villages to meet those children with disabilities, bringing essential soap, food, and love. We are not just offering temporary relief; we are building futures. Our biggest dream is to establish a community school where no child is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. These are not mere statistics, these are children whose lives are being profoundly transformed because someone chose to reach and teach.
Our impact in numbers
The numbers speak volumes about the difference the Reach And Teach Foundation is making. We have reached over 100 children across Kampala and surrounding villages, with more than 50 children currently receiving school fees, uniforms, and meals. We have visited over some schools to seek bursaries and successfully secured more than 20 for talented children who otherwise would never have had the chance to learn. Our dedicated team has grown to 8 members, supported by several volunteers, and we have made community visits to meet children with disabilities, bringing vital supplies and compassion to forgotten children. We have also forged partnerships with local schools, officially registering with URSB in April 2024. These figures represent real lives transformed, yet they also remind us that the need continues to grow, and we are determined to reach even more children.

Beyond immediate assistance, Reach And Teach ensures long-term impact by committing to children throughout their entire educational journey. We foster strong partnerships with families and schools, building enduring relationships that secure ongoing bursaries. We continuously invest in our dedicated volunteers and team members, empowering them to make a lasting difference. Our ultimate dream drives us forward to build a permanent community school. This school will serve generations to come, ensuring that no child is ever deprived of education because of poverty. We believe in sustainable change that creates a brighter future for all.
